The Placement Circle is looking for women aged 30-65 that are ready to study a qualification in Aged Care.
Learn to become a care worker with a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care). With access to peer support, TAFE training and industry placements.
Connect with other women just like you.
The Placement Circle has been developed to help women reconnect to the workforce, through a peer supported vocational education program.
Our first pilot program will start in July 2020 with Chisholm TAFE.
We are helping a group of women complete a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged & Community Care) at TAFE and completing their 120 hours of clinical placement with a place based aged care provider.
What makes the Placement Circle different to other TAFE programs?
As well as a recognised qualification, we’re provide the following extra support:
Subsidised vocational training
Employment ready in 6 months
Peer support from other women with a shared lived experience
Clinical placement opportunities, with genuine employment opportunities for participants to gain employment at the end of the course
Female only study groups
